PERSONAL SAFETY & THEFT PREVENTION

Phone Security: Keep phones out of sight, avoid using them near roads, and set up tracking apps (e.g., Find My iPhone).

Bag Safety: Carry bags closed and in front of you; do not hang them on chair backs.

Street Safety: Be aware of surroundings, especially regarding moped/e-scooter-enabled phone snatches. 

HOME SECURITY & BURGLARY PREVENTION

Secure Access: Lock all doors and windows, even when at home, and consider smart locks.

Secure Perimeters: Keep sheds and garages locked to secure tools that could be used by burglars.

Secure Flats: Ensure communal doors close behind you and never buzz in unknown people.

Visible Deterrents: Use security lighting, CCTV, or video doorbells. 

VEHICLE SECURITY

Keyless Entry: Store keyless entry fobs in a signal-blocking (Faraday) pouch.

Visible Items: Remove all items, including sat-navs and bags, from view.

Parking: Park in well-lit, busy areas or secure car parks.
